About Us
TAG art gallery got its start in June of 2000 with the mission of showing unique works by local, national and international artists to Nashville, best known as "Music City." Nashville is full of creative people, some of which are art buyers, most of which would love to own some original art but don't have the pocketbook for it. Their gallery quickly found its niche offering affordable art to emerging collectors.
Since its inception, TAG has grown by leaps and bounds and has recently moved into the newly renovated Kress Building at 237 5th Avenue North, just a few doors down from its old location in beautiful downtown Nashville. They continue to show an eclectic mix of contemporary painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and sculpture along with outsider and self-taught art. TAG has also been branching out to other cities by exhibiting in art fairs around the country like Art Chicago and The Affordable Art Fair in NYC.
