Miles for Mom

At Hope Center Adoption & Family Services, we continue in our mission and vision of serving the Upper Cumberland with affordable and accessible adoption services! Hope Center remains as the only agency of its kind here in our region, and in 2024, we are setting our sights on raising the funds to grow and expand the opportunities for housing that we can offer our expectant mothers. 

In a jumpstart effort and in honor and celebration of every mother in the adoption journey, Hope Center is hosting Miles for Mom, our very first 5K right here in Algood on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Our goal in hosting our first ever 5K is to raise $50,000 to go directly towards our larger and long-term goal of providing affordable housing options for Hope Center’s expectant and birth mothers. 

Miles for Mom will begin promptly at 8 AM, and will take you on an enjoyable and scenic route through Algood, TN. The cost of race registration is $35 which will cover the cost of your t-shirt and participant medal. On the day of the race, registration will increase to $50 - this includes a medal day of but tshirt size will have to be noted and ordered once race has ended.
