As our largest event of the year, the East Tennessee Celtic Festival is a can't miss event! This year marks our 27th Annual festival and we hope for it to be the biggest and best yet!
Food and merchandise vendors will be available for all of your purchasing wants and needs. Clan representatives will be on hand to possibly help you in finding your own Clan connection and to provide plenty of conversation; be sure to visit the Scottish Tartan Museum's booth, too, for a great wealth of information! Live entertainment – both musical and otherwise – will be taking place throughout the day. With both an archery contest, an ax/knife/spear throwing contest, and our trebuchet there are plenty of ways to have a hands-on experience during the festival!
Alongside this event, our first annual official Highland game competition will be taking place. This will be an officially sanctioned, judged event. Competition will be available in Amatuer, Novice, and Women's categories with prizes being awarded for first, second, and third places. As an official competitive event, there is a $30 entry fee for all athletes wishing to take part. The competition will begin at 9:00AM and run as long as needed to ensure all athletes are able to complete their participation in the events.
