Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies was a great visit! The exhibits were all nice and well kept and the animals looked healthy and well taken care of. It was very crowded the Saturday we went, but you never felt overwhelmed or that the crowd was too much. Everything flowed well and the entire place is set up very nicely. They offer a small first responder discount, which I appreciate, and a very good active duty military discount. I like to support businesses that support these population bases, even though they do not have a duty or obligation to do so. Well done Ripley's and thank you for the great service and maintenance of a great aquarium!

Everything was amazing, spent over 8 hours in here, and I must say that I don't think there was a second wasted. They had something for everyone, an Amazon exhibit, some historical exhibits, and you get to feed and pet Stingrays! Also, the staff was so pleasant with my 2 kids. Prices for food were pretty reasonable. I talked with a few of the locals and if youre a Tennessee resident, donate school supplies to the aquarium, the admission price is only $10 per person.

I have a great appreciation for what the aquarium offers. The animal exhibits are very well done. There are also several historical pieces in the museum. If you bring kids, there is a nice little play area in the center. However, the price of admission is steep. Over $30 per adult. And the crowds... the crowds were a major drawback. I would have enjoyed it much more had it not been so overrun.

This place is always a great stop. So happy we get to share it with out little one. He loves all the exhibits and the large tunnel is so cool. I know he was so excited to see all the animals and being able to touch some of them. I enjoy all the information and knowledge! It seems each time there is something new. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes animals, and even if you are just interested in the ocean.

Very nice aquarium. It is a Ripley's attraction, so they have the deals for doing it plus two, three, or all the other Ripley's attractions in the area. They also have a military discount. The building itself has a very wide array of sea creatures, and it has kids activities like a touch pool, interactive attractions, and a "mermaid show". They also have a glass- bottomed boat that floats over the main shark tank, and an undersea moving walkway that is a glass tunnel with a slow moving floor that snakes it's way beneath the main shark tank. Hands down the best aquarium I've ever been to. Note: They make you exit through the aquarium gift shop, and the gift shop and the snack bar on the bottom floor are kind of overpriced. But you're a captive audience, so you were probably expecting that anyway.
