About Us:
Riverbend Nurseries is a wholesale and retail nursery located just south of Nashville in Thompson's Station, Tennessee. Our nursery sits on 500 acres of some of the best silty clay loam soil in middle Tennessee.
It was founded in 1990 on 80 acres of land. The original establishment was set up for only the wholesale trade, concentrating sales efforts on garden centers and landscape contractors mainly in the eastern half of the U.S. Our nursery has expanded through the years and now encompasses 500 acres on some of the best silty clay loam
soil in Middle Tennessee. Our retail Garden Center opened in 2008. Thanks to the retail division of Riverbend Nurseries, the public can come and shop from the same inventory where the eastern U.S. and Middle Tennessee’s best landscapers, landscape designers, and landscape architects have shopped for years!
Today, our nursery utilizes 500 acres of family owned and operated land to produce over 1,500 varieties of trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, tropical and houseplants. We also carry various tools, chemicals, pottery, indoor and outdoor home décor, bagged and bulk mulches, soil amendments and of course, an abundance of knowledge!
