The historic Lyric Theatre is an intimate cultural venue in downtown Loudon, Tennessee. The theatre is owned and operated by the Loudon Merchants and Property Owners Association. The theatre hosts musical and theatrical events. The Tams, Sam the Sham, Pine Mountain Railroad, Joey and Rory, and other famous entertainers have performed on the stage of the theatre in recent years. Wynn Varble, Nashville songwriter, annually appears on the Lyric Theatre stage performing some of his billboard hit songs like "Waitin On a Woman" recorded by Brad Paisley and "Have You Forgotten" recorded by Darryl Worley. The Rare Notes, a theatrical group consisting of residents from Rarity Bay, call the Lyric Theatre home and host musicals at the theatre. Local school groups also host theatrical events at the theatre. Please join us in downtown Loudon for a night of fun and entertainment.
