This is a nice park. Perfect for kids. There are plenty of trails, all of them relatively easy. Leashes dogs are allowed. There is a nature center and there was an employee who brought out live owls and an opossum. There are rocks for the kids to climb on. The zip lining and tree houses weren’t open buy looked really cool.

This nature center is beautiful. In addition, the people who work and volunteer here are a wealth of information, and are dedicated to educating the public. Check out their “events” tab on their webpage; the number and variety of their programs (for all ages) is phenomenal!

Beautiful place to take a nice winter hike! Lots of peace and serenity. Some of the trails are no joke either. Easy way to get a nice outdoor exercise in without driving all of the way to the Smokies.

Ijams is one of the best places in Knoxville. The park is huge and there's a ton to do. The trails are really nice and easy. There's a little of everything to do here and you can easily spend the whole day there.

Amazing outdoor nature center with river side boardwalk. Dog friendly. Kid friendly. Public restrooms when open. Gift shop inside with snacks and drinks. Inside exhibits with live reptiles and fish. Turtle pond outside. Numerous events throughout the year community oriented. Can be booked as venue?
