Located in Historic East Nashville, Shelby Golf Course opened in 1924. It has the distinction of being the first municipal golf course in Nashville. The eighteen-hole course is located in beautiful Shelby Park and incorporates rolling hills and picturesque landscape into your golfing experience. New bermuda tif dwarf greens were planted in April of 2006. All skill levels can enjoy a round at Shelby. The course has been host to the School Days Junior Golf Tournament, which is the longest running golf tournament in the state of Tennessee. Golfers will meet friendly faces and have a wonderful playing experience at Shelby Golf Course.
